The year is coming to an end and as it gets colder and colder I keep training to be in shape for the Lake Placid Camp in January. The US National Whitewater Center does not operate much in the winter so now most of my training is done on the Catawba River. The next two weeks will be the last operational days of the Center so the local athletes are taking advantage of this. USA Canoe/Kayak is purchasing water time for its athletes for the whole next week so this a good oportunity to train. Also, Canadian Team athletes are coming to train as well, so this next week will be more busy than usual.
